The “Subscribers” works are a conceptual reaction to this virtual world. Familiar but unfamiliar, these pieces are fluid and abstract. They are pieced together, like snippets of memory, content that has been accumulated and recreated, in an animated (Pop culture) manifestation. The use of Stained Glass “Pop Ups” reference a current and historical use of glass being the material that holds and delivers a message to the masses, be it contemporary or historically (fibreoptics and stained glass).
